Achieving Excellence Award

2013 Oct
B. Weir

Brandy has stepped into a highly visible role supporting customers in the SF Metro area, which is a tough task. In such a short period of time, she has taken the initiative to educate her users to follow correct processes, taken the time to help them understand why those processes are important, and worked extremely hard at keeping her users up and running with minimal to no impact to their business. She is a great team player and consistently steps in to assist her fellow co-workers with anything they need help with. Anytime I assign Brandy with a task, she always takes the reigns and handles it, while making sure it is completed within the given time frame and she never turns down a challenge or refuses to assist where I need her. She has made such an incredible impact since being on my team with her customers, co-workers, technology and business partners alike. She has spent a tremendous amount of time and effort on our Nexus project and has gone above and beyond what I have asked of her, consistently taking work off of her co-workers’ plates to lighten their workload. Brandy has shown that she is a capable, skilled, motivated, and intelligent member of my team and I am more than thrilled to have her on the team. She brings a lot of value in many ways and I am sure she has so much more to offer that I have not had the opportunity to see yet. For these reasons and more, I feel that she is extremely deserving of this recognition for a job well done!

Brandy started working with our group in December and has been a pure delight. She is extremely reliable and provides our team with excellent follow up on all of our service request & IT needs. Brandy is approachable, resourceful and always willing to help tackle any problem and provide guidance. Recently, without anyone saying anything she initiated and coordinated the removal of several unused pieces of equipment. This project is now complete and has provided us with ample space for things we use! Thank you so much Brandy for your leadership and all you do, we really appreciate it!

We found out Tuesday afternoon that we needed computer cables for a meeting the next morning. After being contacted to see if we had any, Brandy not only located the needed equipment, but jumped in her car & drove it down from San Barbara to Westlake. That is truly & literally going the extra mile! Thank you Brandy

Gold Coin Nomination

2014 Aug
M. Godsey

Brandy strives for excellence each and every day. This is exemplified by the numerous recognition nominations from those she support and work with. Not only does she support one of the busiest areas in terms of Trouble Tickets and Service Requests in all of WRTT, but she is constantly trying to improve the customer experience. For example: One of the business lines has a newsletter which Brandy offered to contribute some technology tips and tricks. Along with that, she offered herself to attend their team meetings in order to discuss file backups and email retention. This is just one small example of her contributions day in and day out. Brandy is also spearheading the WRTT “Playbook” project, which is a guide and reference for day to day operating procedures, tasks and resources. She has done this while collaborating and seeking assistance from other team members to make this an effective tool for all. This is no small task and much appreciated by management.

2014 Sep
S. Evernham

Brandy Maxwell always goes above and beyond to make sure that the technology needs of our team are well-coordinated. She treats us as if we were her best (and only!) customers, when we know she covers quite a large area. Brandy’s communication is great, and she always ensures she is clear of our needs before proceeding. For example, when working with us on moving team members from one cube or office to another, she always gets the big picture, and asks all the right questions to make sure none of us has forgotten anything. Additionally, when onboarding a new team member, she is so thoughtful, efficient and thorough: checking on the timing of the shipment(s) of the equipment and balancing that against when the new team members is supposed to start, and when Telecom can move/install the phone, along with juggling her other SRs and tickets. Brandy is always pleasant and gets each job done proficiently, and we appreciate all of her hard work and efforts on our behalf. Thank you again, Brandy, for going above and beyond to ensure our current team members have the tools they need to do their jobs well, and for making certain our new folks have a great onboarding experience!

Brandy was tasked with assessing possible changes to our Southern California support by mapping all of the locations we support between the four techs in the region. She worked with myself and another tech to propose changes that prevent overlapping coverage from all the techs which will reduce travel time as well as travel expenses.

J. Disson

Brandy is always eager and willing to take on new assignments or responsibilities. She certainly showed this was true when specifically asked to help with something, and she would proactively ask colleagues if they needed any help. She was also not a procrastinator. When something needed to be done, Brandy would get right on it without delay.

Takes Initiative

2015 Dec
J. Disson

This was Brandy’s first year in this role with this team – she is a very quick learner and was able to hit the ground running. Brandy required very little supervision in her work; she is frequently going above and beyond in her work. When she is given a task, she would take it in whatever direction were needed (even if vague) and then would be off and running on her own. Brandy is excellent at acting preventively, to try and avoid issues arising in her work. When problems arose, she would always take the initiative to figure out a solution on her own.

Achiever

2016 Dec
Y. Stokes

Brandy’s strength as an ‘Achiever’ has been highlighted with her efforts in this area. She has worked tirelessly to overcome obstacles associated existing patch processes designed to increase the safety and soundness of the environment. Through her research of the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), she identified a shorter cycle to complete patch processes reducing the overall outage periods experienced by lab customers. It is obvious that she is passionate about supporting enterprise simplification efforts. Brandy, thank you for placing a premier focus on results!

Arranger

2016 Dec
Y. Stokes

Brandy leverages her ‘arranger’ strength as a means of dissecting complicated components into the best configuration possible based upon her personal knowledge as well as the intellectual capital of those that she partners with. She is an exemplary example of effective flexibility. This rang true recently during efforts designed to migrate away from SharePoint, the backbone lab system, to another tool that has the ability to provide increased functionality. Brandy serves as the lead technical point of contact assisting with requirements gathering, technical insight, and evaluative expertise. Very impressive, Brandy!

Brandy is an ‘Includer’ and has a foundational belief that everyone should be involved and their opinions considered. This translates into her ability to educate others within the lab team, project teams, and across the enterprise setting a quality example of how to communicate clearly and effectively. She drives direction and implementation initiatives successfully identifying cost effective solutions designed to increase operational efficiencies. Brandy, your unique blend of skills has proven to be an indispensable asset to the team.

2006 Manager Review

2006 Mar
J. Marshall

You were vigilant in watching our service levels and reporting problems quickly. You identified problems the bankers were experiencing with Fraud calls and created a quick reference guide that was sent to both sites for bankers to use until the “official” fraud procedures were completed. You attended all training possible this year. You also worked on a floor coverage analysis. QA was a major project for you and you devoted many hours of your own time in analyzing and designing a form that would perform like Mentorware. You maintained my roll-up..adding and removing bankers for all of the teams. Although you were not formally part of the Recognition Committee, you maintained an updated birthday list for them and you participated in Volunteer Wells Fargo. Thank you for everything.

Brandy has been a wonderful supervisor who excels in taking care of her team, motivating them and keeping ahead of a team who at times are to say the lease, a challenge. I have had the opportunity to observer that Brandy tries at all times to do the very best job she can do and that all things are done in reference to the team in a timely manner. Also, she leads the team by example. What a wonderful job she does. Thanks Brandy and good luck!

Brandy has been an extremely valuable asset to the team. Her contributions to our team have been numerous and invaluable. Brandy has taken a position as a Technical Project Manager and while she will remain in our overall group, she will be missed by those she supports as well as by me and the rest of the team. Brandy has earned all of the recognition she received for the quality of work she does and was appropriately recognized as a TOP Performer, constituting the top 3% of TOG. I wish her the best in her new responsibilities and thank her for the hard work and dedication while on my team.
